Thumbelina: A New Bloom offers the first official glimpse into Eboni Glade’s visionary reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairytale — now retold through AI artist Denise Rosseau’s personal mythology and musical world. Combining handcrafted narrative design with AI-generated visual artistry, Glade introduces a symbolic exploration of voice, confinement, and creative rebirth.
At the heart of this adaptation is Denise Rosseau, whose own history inspires the film’s emotional core. The “Garden of Order,” the setting she must break free from, reflects the restrictive, silence-bound environment she once navigated in real life — making her escape in the film a resonant metaphor for reclaiming agency and imagination.
The film’s painterly visual language was created through Leonardo AI, Luma, and Adobe Photoshop, merging traditional visual storytelling with emerging digital tools. Its atmosphere is heightened by Denise’s soulful musical direction and Jesse Rosseau’s thematic compositions, crafting the immersive tone of a visual album.
Thumbelina: A New Bloom marks the first chapter in a growing cinematic universe currently being developed by Glade Creative, with additional musical expansions already in progress. As a project rooted in personal truth and artistic innovation, it showcases what becomes possible when new technology is guided by intimate storytelling — expressive, emotional, and boldly original.
